The clinical case presented in this article illustrates one of the serious iatrogenic complications Nissen fundoplication: diaphragmatic eventration. A 65-year-old patient was diagnosed with recurrent paraesophageal hiatal hernia. Intraoperatively, it treated as Laparoscopic refundoplication, suturing diaphragm defect performed. discharged satisfactory condition on 5th day.
